Artist & Author. + Educator & Business Owner. + Philanthropist & Activist.
In a world that makes us choose between being an artist or a business leader. I chose to be both.
I spent a large portion of my career in the corporate world as an Architect and Management Consultant before giving my creative side permission to take flight. I began writing and publishing wellness books, and later opened my own art studio, Tiny Toes Design, after my son was born.
I now dedicate my time to working on strategic, mission-focused projects that allow me to merge my creative passions with animal welfare, humanitarian causes and environmental preservation efforts.
If there’s one thing I hope you take away from my story - it’s the importance of taking chances, embracing your many talents and stepping outside of your comfort zone.

How long does a watercolor painting take? #shorts #watercolorvideos

How long a painting takes varies by subject and size. I tend to paint realistically, which makes all of my paintings take longer than most watercolors. My attention to detail is what makes my art a little different than most water colors that tend to be looser. Animals and wildlife tend to take a bit longer because of the details in there fur, especially for those animals that have shorter for....

I done this today on day 2 for the first time, tomorrow I don't know I should've chose 22-minute hard to instead, but now I'm stuck with it maybe after three months from now when I'm finish will see how well I did when I get the results.
This is awesome TY
Wow nice ❤
Great!
Thank you for not having bad music. Thank you for having nice music. Most of all, thanks for a great lesson!
You're very welcome!
i used to do a great abb workout with a guy that did this exact sets but could not find it. thanks for putting this out! these workouts and a crazy good set! ❤
You're so welcome!
Perfect
I never really got the rock hop. Lol thought it always looked a little funny.
agreed!
OH NO!!!!!! NOW I HAVE CARDBOARD RIB MARKS on the paper!!! I used thick cardboard WHAT THE HECK!!! In some angles of light it looks like bookmarks in unpainted areas! What?
gosh. I think maybe putting paper between the cardboard to eliminate that might help
So… how many sheets need to be there? Something doesn’t make sense
I’m not sure what you mean. You put the wet paper between two layers of cardboard with craft paper between each side of the paper and cardboard
Craft paper! Ok, gotta be an easier way… still searching… others stapled down wet and that worked on a huge project I just did .
Wahoo! Why did it buckle in the first place if I already stretched it to specs of another watercolor artist?
I don’t know. I don’t think any watercolor paper is fully immune to buckling if you use a lot of water.
Only smaller figures are done and I have the background done but peeled flattened it off the board and did what you did, going to staple it to gator board to finish the illustration and then do this again if needed. I NEVER had buckle issues decades ago when I fully wet paper and used that brown wide tape to hold it to a wood board. Maybe I have to go back to that
This chick is a bad ass 🎉
Thanks :) I’ve never gotten that before!

This is a really good painting and thanks for spreading the awareness 😊
Thank you for watching!!!
awe this is so sad i hope we can save them
I know! It’s heartbreaking- consider donating to www.oceanconservancy.org - they are very reputable and do great work.
@@brettblumenthalstudio i did and i donated 10$ :D
Sadly they have very little chance of recovering, even though hunting them was banned in the 1930s they haven’t been able to recover with the new technologies and they skim feed on similar routes with the global shipping ones. They have been hit by many boats and even though NOAA established a 500 yard speed law they still get tangled in fishing lines because they get confused and spin inside of the lines entangling themselves, the best fix for this would be fishing traps that don’t need a line to be reeled in but are controlled some other way, this might not be developed in time for them to recover and global changes are affecting them as well. I hope and pray they can recover fast enough but it doesn’t look like it.
Hmmm, maybe green?
No...it's a blue color...Indigo!
paynes grey maybe? its my favorite color
No...it's a blue color...Indigo!
it's really nice..but it would have been looked even better if u had used a much thicker paper 😊
The paper is actually 300gsm watercolor paper which is a thick, high-quality watercolor paper. The next thickness would have been to use Watercolor Board, and for this exercise, I didn't see that it was necessary. Thanks for watching!
It’s so pretty!
Amazing, beautiful and very unique
